Vegan, dairy free and gluten free golden syrup bird nests

GOLDEN SYRUP BIRD NESTS

Ingredients:

90g Gluten Free Rice Krispies or cornflakes

80g golden syrup

15g caster sugar

15g dairy free butter

500g white fondant

Equipment:

Mixing bowl

Wooden spoon

Cupcake cases

Instructions:

1. Melt the dairy free butter either in the microwave or on a low heat in a saucepan.

2. Mix the golden syrup, dairy free butter and sugar in a bowl.

3. Pour in the Rice Krispies/cornflakes and mix.

4. Divide the mix into the cupcake cases.

5. Use your hands to break up small pieces of fondant and roll them into egg shapes.

6. Place the fondant eggs in the middle of the nests.

7. Put the nests into the fridge to set.

8. Enjoy!
